Professional

After graduating with a First Class Honours degree in Physiotherapy from Coventry University in 2016, I started my career at Warwick Hospital before specialising in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy at a private physiotherapy practice. This has equipped me with extensive experience in assessing and treating a multitude of conditions related to the human muscles and skeleton, with particular interest in horse rider biomechanics and injury. Please visit the Rider Physiotherapy page to find out more about how I could help you.

I graduated with Distinction in my Veterinary Physiotherapy Master's degree at Hartpury University. This enables me to rehabilitate horses, dogs, and other animals after injury, operations or simply to enhance their quality of life and performance. My particular interest in the horse-saddle-rider relationship is something which I explored in great detail in my Postgraduate Thesis, alongside the Society of Master Saddlers research group. The results of this study were presented at the Saddle Research Trust International Conference, and I hope to undertake further similar research in the future.

Personal

When I'm not working, I can be found at the yard with my two horses. Duke is 24 years old and after 16 years of whizzy competitions with me, he now leads a leisurely life of hacking, fun rides and the occasional bit of jumping. Ronnie is a 9 year old Connemara who I have slowly brought on, and we currently compete in 100cm One Day Events.

I also have a whippet and six chickens! And I love nothing more than sitting in my garden having "puppy, poultry and prosecco" parties!!

I also enjoy keeping active with the gym, running, and the occasional swim or cycle. I find this helps to keep my stamina and muscle strength for eventing without continually fatiguing the same muscles.
